Returns & Refunds Policy

Below is our policy for returning purchases to Spark & Bell.


Policy Introduction & Duration

Our refund & returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please contact our team within 30 days of receiving your order. Once we have been contacted, you have a further 30 days to return your order to us.

As a small business, the majority of returns are treated on an individual basis and we do try to be as flexible as we can, however we will follow our returns and refunds policy outlined here as a basis for all returns.


Returns Eligibility

Spark & Bell offers a range of customised options for lights for the customers choice. These items are ‘customised’ and therefore not eligible for returns or refunds unless faulty.

Non ‘customised’ items can be returned as per our standard policy outlined here.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned as standard such as: Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items in specific relation to our products:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable digital products.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase as well as our returns process to be completed..

The refund process normally takes about a week (7-10 days) to complete as items are returned to our team.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

  • Items that are customised but may be refunded if applicable after a restocking fee.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.


Late or missing refunds (If Applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund we recommend the following:

  1. First check your bank account again.

  2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

We do accept returns on sale items (if applicable) and are subject to our standard returns policy outlined. Sale item refunds can only be refunded up to the total minus any sale discounts, restocking costs and shipping charges that may apply.


Outlet Items

We cannot accept returns on products sold on our outlet. These items are specifically detailed as cosmetically faulty, marked, damaged ect and cannot be returned for said reason. In the event that the item is faulty ‘outside’ of the described details, the situation will be treated as a normal return.


Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@sparkandbell.com

We may exchange an item for another item in certain circumstances, however this is situational and treated on a case by case basis as additional charges, partial refunds or shipping charges may apply.


Shipping items back to us

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

United Kingdom.

As we are a small business, we cannot offer free refunds, therefore you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

In the event that an item is being shipped back to us in the UK from outside of the UK, Spark & Bell cannot be held responsible for any customs, duties or shipping charges and a 20% fee of the order total will be deducted from your refund to cover any charges incurred. **This can be in addition to any restocking fees.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • We suggest the use of DHL for items of a large size or over £75.

  • We suggest the use of ROYAL MAIL for items of a small size

Please ensure you include details of your return in the box. We require AT LEAST.

  • Your order number

  • The name on the order

  • Reason for returning your item.

Items returned without an order number and name cannot be identified and will therefore be treated as non-returnable.
